PWCS CTE LogoPrince William County Public Schools (PWCS) offers a wide variety of rigorous and engaging Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs designed to improve academic and technical understanding, offer leadership opportunities, and deliver instruction through realistic, hands-on applications. CTE instruction demonstrates the relevance and purpose in learning as students prepare for post-secondary experiences, whether they plan to enter the workforce directly, seek additional training, or enroll in a post-secondary institution. Want to take a GMU Game Design Course?

CTE and Mathematics jointly received an Advancing Computer Science Education grant. As part of this grant, PWCS is able to offer a second round of classes through GMU’s Game and Technology Academy.

These classes are being offered TUITION FREE to our students as part of the grant!

2020欧洲杯积分There is limited availability for these courses and this is a GREAT opportunity for ALL students (those new to the gaming field or students with some experience) to gain knowledge in something they are interested in! This second round of classes will be held on April 18, 25 and May 2, 9, and 16.

The sign up form will close March 15 at 11:59 p.m. (Signing up on this form does not guarantee admission, parents will be contacted directly via email if a student is chosen to attend the courses).

CTE Scholarships Available!

2020欧洲杯积分 The Red Lawson CTE Scholarship is open to students pursuing CTE pathways at a college, university, community college, trade school, or other institution of higher learning.  to apply.  Multiple $1,000 or more scholarships are available. Applications are due April 15.
